Step 3: Use the DAB colour schemes in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, & Excel

Follow the steps below to use the DAB 240 custom colour schemes in your Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

(A) MS POWERPOINT

* If you have not downloaded the DAB 240 colour scheme .zip file, return to Step 1.
** If you have not copied the DAB 240 colour scheme .xml files into Microsoft’s Document Theme folder, return to Step 2.

1. Start your MS PowerPoint application. Open a blank document.

2. Locate the “Design” menu in the ribbon and activate it.

3. Locate the “More Variants” button and activate it.

4. Select “Colors” and select your desired DAB custom colour swatch.

(B) MS WORD

* If you have not downloaded the DAB 240 colour scheme .zip file, return to Step 1.
** If you have not copied the DAB 240 colour scheme .xml files into Microsoft’s Document Theme folder, return to Step 2.

(C) MS EXCEL

2. Locate the “Page Layout” menu in the ribbon and activate it.
